It’s been a long time since we’ve updated, and so much has happened! Let’s see if I can make this succinct…
We had a wonderfully successful Kickstarter campaign for RESISTOR_, which ran from March 3rd to April 3rd. We asked for $9,500, which we got in just 31 hours. Here’s the awesome gif Anthony made when finished:
We ended up the campaign with $23,346, 799 backers, and a record number of hours of being awake in a month. We also were picked up by a publisher – we’ve signed with Level 99 Games, who will be fulfilling our Kickstarter as well as distributing our game, both online, in stores, and at events. We’re excited that RESISTOR_ will be part of their Duelist line, and couldn’t be happier! In fact, you can even pre-order the game right now from their store.
The proofs are currently at AdMagic, the contract has been signed with Level 99 Games, and we’re at work on the stretch goals and the special editions. Anthony finished the sticker design, and I’ve been hand-making the buttons at the Philly Game Forge. Here’s a sneak peak of the stickers:
We’ve also had a few events that have kept us busy! The weekend after we launched the Kickstarter, we were in the Indie MEGABOOTH at PAX East, which was an amazing experience. After that, we were at Philly GamesCon, where we demoed RESISTOR_ and Kobolds all weekend, and played lots of games. The weekend after that, we demoed RESISTOR_ at the Franklin Institute for their Science After Hours: 8 Bit Night event. March and April were very busy!
We’ve been trying to take some time to work on Kobolds as well. We started putting the instructions together, and we’ve gotten a lot of excellent feedback on both the game and the instructions from fellow game designers, which has been really helpful. We want to get the wheels turning on that game and we hope to have more news about its future soon.
I’ve also just made a pretty comprehensive “About us!” page where you can find out more info about Anthony and I. Check it out! Here’s one of the many projects Anthony has been working on, the box art for Grow: The Organic Building Game:
Oh, and of course, it goes without saying that we’re working on prototypes for other game ideas we have as well. We demoed one for the first time this past Wednesday, and have been talking about a few other game projects over the last few days. There’s a lot of excitement happening!
I’ll be posting a Kickstarter postmortem soon as well… I just need to write it. I’m going to start it right… now.
Happy gaming, all!

I missed the Kickstarter and only recently discovered Resistor_ . It looks really fun. I’ve pre-ordered it. and can’t wait to play it.
